The protection grade system was drafted by
and classifies electrical products according to their characteristics of being dust-proof, preventing foreign objects from entering, being waterproof, and being moisture-proof.
The protection level consists of two numbers. The first number indicates the level of dustproofing and preventing the intrusion of foreign objects. The second number indicates the degree of sealing against moisture and waterproof intrusion. The larger the number, the higher the protection level. The meanings of the two numbers are as follows
